Waxing
Wednesday, January 20th, 2010Waxing is another method of removing unwanted hair from the skin besides threading. Waxing can be done in three different ways. They are Epilation, Depilation and waxing. Epilation: This method of removing hair includes threading, twitching and plucking. Depilation: Removing hair with the help of hair remover cream is called Depilation. Waxing: It is the easiest method of removing the unwanted hair. Waxing is more convenient to remove hair. Threading cannot help remove all the hair; while waxing helps do it. Waxing picks out hair from its roots and still it is not painful. Wax preparation follows these methods; take 250ml of lemon juice and 600g of sugar in a thick metal pot. Put the pot on a low flame and keep stirring. Make the flame high after 5 to 6 minutes till the content boils over.
Then once more make the flame low. Stir it for 2 to 3 minutes into a complete dissolve. A drop of the contents should make one single shred. Drop four to five drops of the contents in half a cup of water. If the drops sink below, take it for granted that the wax is ready. If they mix up with water, the content still needs more boiling. There are few things used for waxing such as Warm wax, Butter knife, Water-bowl, Wax straps made of cloth, Wax heater, Sponge and powder. Waxing can be done on the hands, under arms, on the stomach, on the legs, on the back and on the face. You have to take special care on waxing such as see that the temperature of the wax is not so high as to cause any harm, burning and etc to the person.
