French manicure differs a little from the common manicure. Nails are given square shape in this manicure. Hen nails are cleaned as is done in common manicure. Paraffin wax mask is applied instead of the manicure mask. Paraffin wax mask is prepared in base. It is heated in the wax heater. The special wax heater for paraffin is also available, in which hands are soaked in the hot wax. If there is no special wax heater, paraffin wax is heated in simple wax heater and it is applied with a brush. Peel it off after 10 minutes and massage with cream or body lotion according to the steps suggested previously. Wipe out the nails and apply the basecoat nail polish. Top coat is done after it gets dry. The manicure nail polish kit is easily available in the market. If the toes are long, the same method can also be taken help of for pedicure.

Chocolate manicure-pedicure: This is a new method. In this method, also manicure and pedicure can be done as suggested previously. The chocolate base mask is applied in this method. This mask is made up of chocolate + paraffin purified wax + herbs + oxygenating agent. It gives the skin nourishment and softness. It improves skin texture by removing the wrinkles of the skin. This mask does not give the lightening effect. This mask rejuvenates the dehydrated skin. The chocolate mask is different for the young skin and the mature skin. For the young skin, it is chocolate with mint and for the mature skin, it is the Swiss chocolate mask.

Treatment of Legs

The treatment of legs is pedicure. This treatment comprises the treatment of the hinder part of the sole, nails and the leg. It keeps the legs in good condition by boosting up the blood circulation. The sinews of the legs get stimulated. It makes the skin smooth and provides the legs a beauty. Apparatus and material used in pedicure: Small scissors, pumice stone, pedi cutter, nail filter, underneath dust remover, cuticle knife, soft nail brush, luke warm water, nail polish remover, foot spa, napkin, nail cutter, scraper, orange stick and cuticle pusher. Steps for pedicure massage: Massage upwards on the leg with both the hands. Do the clockwise and anti clockwise massage on the toes.

Bend the toes and pull them tightly. Rotate each of the toes clockwise and anti clockwise one by one and pull them. Do the criss cross massage under the toes on the sole. Do clockwise and anti clockwise massage with the folded palm on the sole. Massage on the heel. Massage in ‘S’ and ‘8’ shape on the sole of the foot. Do the criss cross massage around the ankle joint of the foot. Do the vibration massage with both the hands on the foot. Do the pinching massage. Do the tapping with the fingers of both the hands. Fold the palms round together in the shape of a bangle and do the massage. Do the criss cross massage below the knee joints. Do the circle massage around the knee. Massage upwards on the calf muscles. Do general stroke massage at the last.
